Well, I'm finally almost human again. I'm still a bit congested and sniffly, but I'm hoping the worst is over. I'm functional enough that this weekend I didn't spend it comatose on the couch (like the last few weekends). I actually started up Photoshop to see what I could see. Well, it is about time for another painting project. I've had my fun with photo manips, but I'm never going to hone my painting skills without getting back on the horse. So, here's a preview of my latest project, a first WIP:



I have no idea when I will be able to finish it. I can only paint for an hour or two most nights during the week because of work and family type stuff. It's nice to be back in the game though. I'm going to be focusing more on lighting issues as well as really trying to get some texture going on, something my previous paintings have fallen short on.
