Well, I'm on antibiotics now, but I don't seem to be any better. I know it takes time, but it seems I've been sickly forever. I haven't been doing much else but sleeping and working.

I did watch a few movies that my husband got for Christmas last night. Both were missing key actresses. :doh: The Dark Knight was missing Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes, and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor was missing Rachel Weisz as Evelyn O'Connell. What a bummer. I realize that all of the original actors can't always come back, but it was a terrible disappointment nonetheless. I spent most of the first half of The Dark Knight trying to figure out who this woman was they kept showing. I didn't even realize that she was supposed to be Batman's previous love interest for quite awhile because the actress they got to play Rachel looks nothing like Katie Holmes. :cry:

and on the movies.. I totally agree with you on the mummy one.. I have not seen the third movie but my sister and her boyfriend were watching it on night and I just catched some of it.. and it was just weird to watch another actress play that role.. and I am not sure was it that or something else but I did not watch that movie.. :S

I just think it has something to do with the fact they are both named "rachel" in some way....i mean what are the odds? :O_o:

....There may have been some kind of "fate bug" loose in hollywood that genetically targeted people named "rachel" , either fictional or real...and was messing with storyline happiness at the time these were both filmed.

Of course if the new actresses distress you ...i shudder to think what you experience everytime a new James Bond hits the stage...lol

I was on antibiotics for a bladder infection and now I'm on antivirals for something else...

I'm not a huge James Bond fan, though I've suffered through a few with my husband. Anyway, they've made it a part of the James Bond mythos to get a new one once the old one gets too wrinkly (which was very clever of them). It is to be expected. However, the Batman and Mummy movie tried to just sneak it in like we wouldn't notice. Even the movie trailers did not give us a look at the new actresses.

i think Katie Holmes was absent because Scientology made a "new" tenant that is 50,000 years old that says you may not support comic books in any form or fashion or you will loose your clarity. When you are married to Tom Cruise the last thing you can afford to lose is clarity for goodness sake !
I don't know what bug was up Rachel Weisz's ass.

yeah ..it's like the pod people from Invasion of the Body Snatchers ...but you dont have the benefit of them just staring and pointing and mouth sirening to point you out as someone who escaped :O_o:
