Here I sit at 2 p.m. working...which is very strange for me since I've been working 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the last year or so. I've switched to a daytime slot at work so now will be around in the daytime instead of night. It has become my habit to keep deviantART open while I work as a pleasant visual distraction from the medical text I spend my days typing up. I'm hoping this is a positive change of schedule as it should allow me to actually spend some time with my husband in the evenings on his days off (he has Monday and Tuesday nights off) as well as a better opportunity to make more money as there is more work available in the daytime for the clinics I mainly work for.

The weather has also changed. It is freaking cold outside! I live in an old farmhouse, and it is a drafty little place. I have been running my space heater at my feet to keep my toes and fingers thawed enough to type.

I've also started learning HTML/CSS via online tutorials and advice. Just the basics so far, but eventually I'd like to use my journal as a testing ground for my new fab skills.
